DDI 222 DIGITAL DOSING PUMP, Dosing Pump

DDI 222 Digital Dosing Pump TrueDos® 222 Grundfos DDI dosing pumps do Digital Dosing from 75 ml/h to 150 l/h at an exact setting of the flow rate. The precise and uninterrupted dosing of the high-performance, integrated microelectronic system and speed-controlled drive technology ensures stability in process quality and mixing of the fluid. After the dosing rate per hour is entered into the system in liters, the whole process is now under the control of the pump. Digital Dosing Stepper motor/EC drivers provide effective control of the stroke rate and determination of the correct stroke rate. The duration of each pressure stroke varies according to the flow setting. The suction stroke duration is always fixed, but it can be extended and customized using the anti-cavitation function. This suction takes place with the full stroke volume. This achieves the smooth transfer of the degassing fluid and two factors that are important for installations requiring long suction lines – continuous dosing and low vibration in the dosing system. Low cost dosing The DDI dosing pump reduces energy costs to a record level thanks to its advanced EC motor technology. It provides maximum efficiency even with a flow rate of 150 l/h. Offering +/- 1.5% high repeat accuracy in an adjustable range, DDI pumps prevent waste in chemical consumption with their high precision dosing capacity. High flexibility The design of DDI pumps is unique: using a motor, gears and two dosing heads of different sizes, a complete range of pumps has been achieved. This reduction of part variations provides a great economic advantage to the user as it minimizes the number of spare parts needed. The fact that the dosing flow rate can be entered and monitored directly in the system in I/h with perfect calibration brings along dosing precision with an unprecedented ease of use. The DDI is smaller and quieter than conventional dosing pumps of the same capacity. Control and monitoring elements are located on the side or rear of the pump. Numerous control functions such as manual, contact signal, analog signal, batch batch control and timer control are available according to different application features. Dosing of highly viscous fluids (up to 2600 mPa s) Digital Dosing technology controls the rate of the suction stroke to prevent cavitation that can occur when dosing high viscous fluids. Two suction speeds are available. Optional Flow Monitor Developed for DDI pumps, the Flow Monitor reliably detects dosing problems on the suction and discharge sides and provides instant error messages. In addition, FM detects errors with its smart system and offers digital monitoring against excessive pressure. For this, simply enter the maximum allowable back pressure into the system digitally. When the entered back pressure value is exceeded, the pump shuts down. Bus communication Profibus interface on pumps; It provides performance data and status information to be used for quality control, preventive maintenance and reference points. Processes: CIP applications with dosing of biocides and chemicals, conveyor belt oil, various acids, alkali solutions, flocculation and coagulating agents, cationic and anionic polymers with different viscosities, precipitating agents and disinfectants.
