DME Digital Dosing Pumps Grundfos DME Digital Dosing pumps combine excellent dosing accuracy with ease of use, dosing large volumes from 60 l/h to 940 l/h in just a few versions. Digital Dosing Stepper motor/EC drivers provide effective control of the stroke rate and determination of the correct stroke rate. The duration of each pressure stroke varies according to the flow setting. The suction stroke duration is always fixed, but it can be extended and customized using the anti-cavitation function. This suction takes place with the full stroke volume. This achieves the smooth transfer of the degassing fluid and two factors that are important for installations requiring long suction lines – continuous dosing and low vibration in the dosing system. DME pumps have all the benefits of the smaller Digital Dosing pump range acclaimed for their reliability and make dosing easier than ever before. Precise and easy adjustment The user can easily set up the pump and make the necessary adjustments to deliver the exact amount of dosing liquid. The pump setting is displayed directly in ml/h or l/h, pulses or dosing quantity. The operating mode can be easily identified using icons. Measuring range 1: 800 Offering a measuring range ten times higher than ordinary solutions, DME Digital Dosing pumps achieve the highest level of flexibility and dosing accuracy. The suction stroke, set at 75%, 50% or 25% of the maximum speed, ensures optimum start-up conditions and the transfer of even the most difficult fluids. Unique technology The unique drive technology and microprocessor control in the pumps ensure that even highly viscous fluids or gas treatment fluids are dosed with reliable precision and low vibration. The conventional stroke length setting is not used in regulating the DME capacity; for this, the function of auto-adjusting the engine speed during the delivery stroke and the constant suction stroke rate come into play. Thus, a uniform mixing process is performed under optimum conditions. Bus communication Profibus interface on pumps; It provides performance data and status information to be used for quality control, preventive maintenance and reference points. Overload protection Integrated overload protection monitors the back pressure of the pump and protects the pump against high pressure loads. Switch mode power supply The switch mode power supply enables Grundfos DME Digital Dosing pumps to be used worldwide in the 100-240 VAC – 50/60 Hz range. Material options Stainless steel, PVDF and environmentally friendly, low cost polypropylene are used for the dosing heads of DME pumps. Processes: CIP applications with dosing of biocides and chemicals, conveyor belt oil, various acids, alkali solutions, flocculation and coagulating agents, cationic and anionic polymers with different viscosities, precipitating agents and disinfectants.
